Having a store front

You are incorrect, it is not illegal, my sign brings in lots of folks and I help them sign up for Medicare.
You do you honey, I'll do me.
I'm surprised that's allowed too; but I can see why people stop there. We are thinking like agents and Medicare's compliance rules, that's why we are questioning it, but people who don't know anything about compliance, etc. think differently. I would guess they are just stopping because they want to know more about Medicare.

Now you've changed the facts.

Still deceptive.

But like you said, you do you.

What's deceptive I don't understand

But then again I don't understand what's Not deceptive about saying

do you have Medicare, The govt is now giving dental vision hearing and more

Are you getting all the Medicare benefits your entitled to,

but we see that all day on TV

CMS prohbits the use of the word "Medicare" or any language that implies additional knowledge, skill, or certification above licensing requirements. For example "Medicare Specialist", "Medicare Advisor", or in this case "Medicare Store."

However, it's not like CMS is kicking in people's doors for using the Medicare moniker.

Technically, you're not allowed to use any wording that may mislead or deceive the beneficiary to believe they are interacting with a government entity. Furthermore, the intent on your end isn't nearly as relevant as what a reasonable person would believe to be true.

My magnet business cards look similar to a Medicare card but clearly state it's not associated with Medicare or any government agency.

Gess You ever turn your TV on and see the commercials?

I don't remember the exact verbiage CMS uses in ahip But I believe its more along the lines of saying Medicare endorses or maybe include stuff that indicates one works for Medicare

But Medicare plans Medicare this and that is all over TV they are even worse they say are you getting all the benefits Medicare has approved for you like dental vision, or Medicare has now approved new dental vison even groceries in your area yada yada

yet no issue with CMS

really gross misrepresentations, I would think these are violation but No,

You see stuff out there like the Medicare savings network and many other spins

I highly doubt something like the Medicare store should be an issue
