Home Use Direct Dialers and Software

Apparently it's up, but not yet in service.

Which leads to a question:
Does anybody on the forum have a current or former telemarketer, that does cold calling, searching for 20-40 extra hours of work per week??

contact me ... I have a few callers wanting work on the weekends

I have already found someone for myself. I do have a few agents that may be interested in a telemarketer , but only looking for a caller for week days...calling to set appointments for the next day. Not more than a day out.

I find it easier to hire more than 1 telemarketer, telling each that they max they can work per day is 2 hours. After 2 straight hours of cold calling, numbers start to drop off.

I do not think their rate during the week would make sense for you, with respect. I have a few callers willing to work for a less on their off time.

I never mentioned what my agents or I pay for telemarketing.
Either way, no problem, my agents are pretty self-sufficient.

That hasn't been my experience. If they have 2-3 straight hours with no success I tell them to take some time off but if they are being productive, you don't want them quitting after 2 hours. Plus if you are limiting them to 2 hours per day that means they need to find another job too. Not a good recipe.

I only hire part-timers. I've found it to be too much of a challenge to find a high quality full-time marketers - much easier to find people who are good, but can only work part-time.

I'm a geek with measuring and I found the number and quality of leads dropping off the longer they're on the phone. This would not be the case with a true pro but true pros are tough to find.

Would you share best practices on hiring telemarketers?

How do these dialers deal with the Do Not Call lists. Do you have to check that on your own before loading the phone numbers? or do any of these check that when you try to load the numbers.
