How could we improve Insurance Forums?

I'm a P & C guy. P & C laws differ from state to state so the loss location is important to a proper answer. Especially auto accidents - no fault vs tort.
That's true for all insurance lines and I agree that people should at least post what state they're in (or where they're writing their case) when they ask a question.

I'm pretty sure @marindependent would vote for this dozens of times...lol.

That would be a step towards structured and controlled posts which is not going to happen on this forum.

It's up to responders to decide if and how they want to respond to a post, as you once told me you did.

Yes, I would vote that people should list the state and type of insurance they are asking about.
Is he a dead Democrat?
Dont understand.

Probably true.... but if there were a special section for consumers to post real questions - that might be more possible.
Like this one?

Yep and within that a "Special Post Thread" - different than the regular post a Thread section that would NOT allow you to post without adding:
Type of Insurance
Insurance State
Etc

2cents

That's nice, but I don't see that as consistent with the overall behavior of posters, responders, or members of the forum or the obtaining of access to a broad base of free information which the forum can provide.

Just get used to it, posters, even insurance agents who should know better, are not going to provide all the answers a responder needs.

ENJOY THE POSTING FREEDOM MEMBERS HAVE HERE RATHER THAN TRYING TO DEFINE AND CONTROL THE CHARACTER OF OTHER MEMBERS' POSTS.

There will be no ends to the limits and control other members will want to place on other members posts once a limiting process starts.

If you are falling within Sam's limits, Don't worry, be happy.
