I have been a hospital pharmacist for about 25 years and currently working full-time. I am 50 years old. I would like to be Medicare insurance broker as a side business only. I am mostly looking to help out friends and families and build connections from there and eventually use this as a supplemental retirement income. I am in CA. What would be the best way to go about this? I understand I have to apply for a CA insurance agent license and be AHIP certified.
