I really should be working

Dude, I would have built you a house.
I use to sit backstage with Ray Charles after his shows. He always cracked me up.

He came and and went to all his shows in a taxi cab. His opening acts came and went in stretch limos. I asked him once why he didn't ride in a limo.

He said he didn't want to piss God off by showing how much money he had.

Like I said. You would have loved it.

You're killing me Smalls!

Chris Stapleton has brought a whole new audience to Country. Which brought new artist. I'd love to get a nickel for every time Tennessee Whiskey is played in a bar.

Yeah, been listening to Country since I was a kid. My mom loved HeeHaw.

I would blast Country from my 54 Chevy Lowrider. Well, blast from a AM radio and one stock speaker. Until I got that high tech 8 track. I started in Construction at 16, back then it was Okies, Arkies, and prune pickers only. And only Country music.

So from twangy Roy Clark and Buck Owen's to Outlaw, to current Country Rock and Country Rap.

My music algorithm is all over the place. I was on a The Hu kick the other night.

Health - all good just getting stuff handled that I haven't. I want to Burn Out, not Fade Out. I kinda like how Jax did it in SOA, just not today :)

Bro, SOA is one of my favorite shows. So well written, cast and acted. Had me crying when he did the deed with Gemma and then way he went out had me tearing up. I've watched the entire show twice.

Stapleton's voice is incredible. I grew up a rock guy. My dad would put on his albums, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Atlanta Rhythm Section, CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. Then I had my 80's rock, rap, alternative & R&B.

To be honest, I'm always in awe of people either musical talent. Just envious. Almost doesn't matter the genre. Just appreciative of their talent.

Been on stage with a lot of those guys. Them and a lot more. And they all told me the same thing.

Get off the stage fat boy. It's time for us to sing.
