Iran Testing Us- Thanks a Pantload Dufus

If that wake up call went anything like the call with the Australian PM we're screwed.

1-800-clown-show

I have agreed that as Trump continues to uncover all the give-away deals that Obama entered into that things will go badly in many instances.

What did Dufus and the Iranians fight over? Oh, I see. They insisted on getting their 150 billion in euros rather than dollars. Dufus said "no but give me an hour to think about it before I approve it? And they said, "okay but hurry it up because we have a lot of terrorists who need to be paid and we have things that we need to do to humiliate American sailors so want to get the money first. "Oh, and we are busy building a nuke facility and need the cash so step it up clown-boy."

Clown show.

I don't think you know what the word agree means. But, yes, things are going badly under Trumps regime with our allies and enemies. That part is true so far.

Perhaps it would be best to resolve all of that according to the Obama Doctrine: ie. just stop talking to our allies and ignore them, and immediately agree to whatever our enemies want.

That should get things back to your liking.

My liking involves alliances with free democratic nations, not exactly Trump's strong suit.

I see. And Obama wasted no time kicking Britain and Israel in the balls. I guess that was an example of "your liking" of how to treat free democratic countries.

Alright, you seem to want to blame Obama for Trump's fat mouth antantics. Tell me what you're talking about as to Britain and Israel and how that relates to Trump ruining important American relations with our long standing allies.

Perhaps you should make yourself familiar with:

... as this seems to be your primary method when defending Trump.

I have to admit, not everyone in Britain is happy with Trump:

Tens of thousands join marches across UK against Trump's travel ban

But then here's what they bring with them to the U.S.:

Muslims 'have the right' to use Sharia law in Britain, says activist | UK | News | Express.co.uk

----------

Iran: Only seven minutes needed for the Iranian missile to hit Tel Aviv - Middle East - Jerusalem Post

which says:

Only seven minutes is needed for the Iranian missile to hit Tel Aviv," senior member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and former Revolutionary Guard official, Majtaba Zonour, told semi-official Fars News Agency Saturday.

His comments follow days of heated exchanges between US and Iranian officials.

So in a dispute with Iran, Israel is the hostage.

Of course Israel has always been the Muslim's number one target, and they are just looking for an excuse to have a go with the Israelis.

Obama sat by and did nothing while Iran developed nuclear weapons and the technology to quickly deliver them.

Trump should consider adopting the posture of the United States which face a similar hostage drama in Berlin. An attack, by Iran, on Israel, will result in a full retaliatory response against Iran, until such time as the Iranian agree to abandon their missile program and abide by the terms of Obama's stupid nuclear deal.

Here's where our allies fleeing Trump creates the pickle. Iran is not alone. You may recall the Russians and the Chinese made clear a US attack on Iran would bring them into the conflict some years ago prior to the nuclear deal. Of course we were ok with that as the Brits, the aussies, the Canadians and our allies had our back then. If they really wanted it, we would have been ready. Now mind you, most of those nations can't stand Netanyahu either but Obama kept the defense of Israel a matter of importance for our long standing coalition and we ended our backing Iran down in the long run. That's how we got the Iran deal. Many among this board think that deal is bilateral, it's not. We are one of many nations involved.

Now today, Iran is emboldened but not because of lack of discipline as has been portrayed but because Trump is weakening the coalition not only in the Iran deal but NATO as well.

Yes, all of this bodes poorly for Israel. We can expect Iran to step up their provocations with Hezbollah fighters to distract Trump from their missile programs. Then of course there's the proxy war being fought in Yemen between Iran and Saudi Arabia, expect similar ratcheting up of tensions there.

The point is Iran has many ways to distract Trump and keep him busy and weaken America while grabbing more power in the Middle East. What is critical is that Trump keep a united front - which he is failing to do.

You are clearly viewing this spat-with-the-allies thing as a puzzy rather than a man. Obama did not spat with Brits or the Israelis, he denigrated them and let them know that he was not there for them.

The Brits, including the PM who was just here being kissy face, are throwing rocks at us on some issues- and we are spatting with the Aussies on some things. But we are all friends and will be there in a minute as needed and vice versa. It has always been thus. New Zealand loves us but wont allow american nuclear warships in port. The EU taxes our beef and we are slapping their face to get even. This goes on among adult friends. Don't be a san francisco puzzy and think that the sky is falling every time adult allies have conflict. The Brits and the Scots are joined at the hip culturally and defense-wise for christs sake but scotland talks endlessly about separating. The brits and the rest of the eu are there for each other in defense and cultural ties but also talk about separation. Toughen up a bit.

Obama is there for camel-land. Not for westerners. That is the difference and they know it.

Nope. Totally Baghdad Bob world view here and consistent with the "that's fine" line in Trump's administration thus far.

The amount of hypocrisy is notable as well. The way you hold Obama to one standard and give Trump pass after pass on the same exact issues is remarkable.

Let's be clear here, Donald Trump has damaged our reputation across the world and our relationships with important allies. There are people marching in the streets all over Europe against him, grumblings among world leaders of his fitness but Winter believes this is a "spat", very euphemistic.
