Ivy League Wealth Secrets

My definition of spamming is making the same post over and over. Seems you posted the above a number of times in various forums. All you've done is a C&P of yourself!

How about deleting all this BS and starting completely over?

Rick

buddy. the same people were attacking me in various fourms. so yes...i copied the same response (to save time). I am new to any forums. I am usually running a business. Happy to delete the thread. Don't know how....

"Yeah. Thanks. I played for all 4 years. 92-95. Won the 2 rings in 93 and 94."

Just curious. I sent you a PM and asked before...How many letters did you earn? I have been a big fan of Penn for many years and followed their teams fairly closely.

And yes...those teams were indeed very good!

sorry the system wont let me respond to private msgs till I have 20 posts. Tried. Yes 2. Unfortunately my career was cut short twice due to shoulder surgeries.

Played against Keith Elias (princeton / ny giants)
Jay fiedler (dartmouth, Miami dolphins)

notable team mates
Miles Macik (Detroit Lions)
Mitch Marrow was a DL (NFL combine bench press champ at the time).
Jim Finn (NY Giants)
Mark Derosa MLB was our quarterback.

Institutional education is useless.

Not completely useless. It is all in how the person applies what they learn.

The problem with most people with a "degree" is that they think they know everything; when in reality they know very little.

As a person with numerous degrees I will say this. The majority of people that I would consider "intelligent" have no formal education....

They got their education by hard work and dedication; unfortunately that is something that can not be taught!

The process of getting my degree did help me become more disciplined with respect to time management, information retention, and things like that - but the actual content of the degree is about 90% useless to me today.

That is, unless anyone's up for a discussion of modern prison architecture. Anyone? Bring back the panopticon!

He is having a solid baseball career. He just signed a new deal that was very rich. He was (is) a great athlete. He probably could have played quarterback at the next level too. He left school early after his jr year to start his baseball career.

"Mark Derosa MLB was our quarterback."

Wow. I didn't realize he played Div 1 football. I think he just signed (or will sign) a nice fat contract.

I couldn't agree more. I have learned more from my industry peers than I did from my formal education.

I hope all is well with the group. I think we may have gotten off to the wrong foot. I don't intend to place a million advertisements on the forums. I'm simply a experienced agent and partner with one of the largest firms in the nation and was very excited about the book I wrote.

I apologize if it came off as a long winded advertisement. I simply wanted to communicate my excitement and outline of the type of practice that I run. If it has offended anyone I apologize. I hope you will give me a second chance and consider allowing me to add value to the forums where necessary.

My name is Keith, I'm a 15 year veteran of the financial services industry. I manage a personal practice as well as a wealth management team. I made my money as a financial services indusrty professional...not as an author. I currently work with over 50 pro athletes and manage over $100 million in my personal practice.

Our firm is one of the largest on the east coast with over 400 reps (60+ million GDC in 2009) and we are always looking for ideas, guest speakers, and marketing strategies. As a management team, we have developed over 30 in-house top of the table reps (including 7 who did over 1 million GDC this year). We utilize a team based selling platform.

My book is not a get rich quick scheme. It is a practice management book. I am not hocking a selling system, or a lead generation programs, empty promise annuity / college funding plans, or tiny classified ads. Just the ideas that made our firm successful. Sorry if I came on so strong. I am passionate about our industry and I want everyone to reach their full potential. I hope to learn from each of you through this forum.

PS: Not all Ivy League guys are rich and privledged jerks. I grew up blue collar. Worked on garbage trucks and jumped out of airplanes w the 82nd airborne division as an infantry officer to pay for college. I don't follow basketball but did play linebacker on 2 ivy league championship teams.

I'll send you a free copy for offering the only professional response so far. Send me your info.

Ps: I cut and pasted my initial post in word because the spell check feature in this forum wasn't working for me. Thanks again for your help.

There are about 23 references to "I" in this write-up along with an almost equal number of "my" references.

If you want to serve 'US" or "us' you may appeal to our desires, wants and humanity. Most of "us" have no interest in how self-centered you are.
