I cant believe Im gonna defend MM's premise but when I cold called for health insurance, I used a pattern disruptor and I got good results, even had people complimenting me on my honest approach...

Got 1-2 leads every hour and 1-3 pipeline leads every hour.
This was the same script that Full Throttle used to call small businesses 1-4 employees for health insurance
"Hi is batsh!t there? Hi batsh!t, this is Justin Agent giving you a call, and Batsh!t you won't recognize my name because I'm calling you as a cold call, do you mind if I quickly tell you the reason I'm calling you?"
provokes curiosity, they wanna know what kind of marketer is that upfront with them, what are they selling!?

How many did you get per hour without interruption marketing? I may have used it before I can't remember. Tins and I have used several scripts and the one we use now works the best without any interruptions. We did have one TM that would fall asleep on the phone call. I guess that is interruption marketing.

My conversion was around 8 leads to get a sale (4 years ago). It was all over the phone, when I first started insurance, and it was right before commissions got slashed due to Ocare, so I never kept it going. I'd get some life policies in the mix by asking to drum up quotes, but I never hit upon any pain buttons except greed so I was spinning my wheels.

Umm...check the spelling again. It was "Colombo" not Columbia.
As in the TV show
Frigging auto correct.....I hate that I spell the word and move on and it changes it. Yes Colombo.
Edit it did it again changed the word when I hit the send button.
