so....again.....yes...and btw....this was the question....Will she be able to collect on that policy if he passed away, if there was nothing in the divorce decree?..........which is a clear yes if the prem is paid and in force......

I don't believe it is a clear yes. it is a maybe it will & likely it wont. find out the state specific law where you believe they will die.

The divorce decree likely very clearly stated the ex spouse hereby has all rights to own or receive beneficiary benefits from any and all policies/assets unless they were granted ownership of that specific policy in the divorce decree. So, they are likely in violation of the divorce decree merely by continuing to pay the premiums or convert the policy
