Tomorrow I am meeting with an orphan couple in their 60s. During the conversation I had with the wife while scheduling our appointment, she mentioned something about her husband having an injury and being paralyzed. At this point I don't have any details beyond that, but I'm wondering what sort of affect this might have on his ability to increase his insurance amount (which would require a paramedical exam).
I won't know if either of them want to or should increase their insurance amount until I learn more about their situation tomorrow, but I'd like to have at least a general idea of what sort of affect paralysis can have on underwriting in case it comes up during the meeting.
Thanks in advance for any responses!
