Mutual of Omaha and Wellcare ending cobranding MAPD relationship

It's the beginning of much chaos coming to the Medicare agent . Allstate just canned their med sup product that was popular . I see a lot of complacency among Medicare agents like " nothing will affect my commissions" . They better talk to P@c agents . State Farm didn't blink and eye pulling all homeowners out of fla yrs ago and now about to blow out of California . Those agents left high and dry . It's all about profit and any agent in the way will be run over

I've yet to run into anyone with an Allstate Med Supp. According to CSG data, they 3,729 lives in my state and 57,351 nationwide which is 0.22% market share. Hardly "popular".

I came across quite a few folks whose MAPDs were exiting the market at the end of last year who enrolled in Allstate Plan G supps with GI rights. Apparently, in some states anyway, they had very competitive rates and paid full commish for GI. Of course, that's probably why they're getting out - all that GI business they wrote for very unhealthy people last year.
