Need Help With Major Medical in SC

Which STM plan can be issued to an insulin dependent diabetic? STM is considered creditable coverage in many states which may DQ them from PCIP.

Anthem does here, but no coverage for pre-ex or complications. They actually don't even ask any health questions. CareFirst will also insure pregnant people. Strange.

I almost never deal with major medical, but I have a referral that needs some assistance. She is currently being covered by Cobra (at $1500 a month) for her family, but they will be losing it in December.

Mother 51 y/o
- Insulin Dependent Diabetic

Father 51 y/o
- Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetic

Daughter 17 y/o
- Perfect Health

Any ideas for this family?

FWIW, Carolina Care Plan will accept and hold a kids app for their standalone kids policy until HHS guidance is issued....

I think I had 6 or 7 that I wrote effective for 9/22, lol......

And now that I think about it, CCP will look at a non-insulin dependent (non juvenile onset) with A1-C results submitted that are not more than 6mo. old.....but if the kid is on that app, it will be held....I was thinking CIGNA may take a look under the same conditions as well....
