New Agent Advice

Have good training, support and a source to find/generate leads. And if possible, do a combo of advanced commission and "as earned", that way when you have chargeback it don't hurt so much (just recently learned this trick). All downhill after that.

Work your butt off. I'm new to the insurance world but not to sales. Last month (4th month licensed) I wrote over $100,000 in premium. I'm not afraid to pick up the phone or knock on a door.

Know what markets your carriers are good at and go after it.

Aflac, thanks I am new

----------

I just completed Aflac sales school. Licensed in health & accident, working on Life studies. We are trained to cold call businesses on foot also referrals, and warm markets. Prospecting in 90degree weather is tough, I try to start early in mornings. Some people are open to meet, very difficult to set appointments. Over saturated area where I am locally. I appreciate you sharing ~thanks again.
