I have a license and would like to "specialize" in iul's.

Which companies are the best? My issues would be support/training, product, and of course commissions.

Thank you in advance.

I'm guessing you're not exactly an expert in the product you want to sell.

Maybe you should look at how to sell life insurance rather than picking the exact product.

I would suggest transamerica and western reserve life, however for their top IUL products you have to go through World Financial Group, the brokerage I am with to have access to their products. You can message if you want more info on them:)

How long have you been a recruiter for them??? That is all you offer in your posts.

I have been with world financial group for the past 2 years. I do not specifically recruit for them. I am only suggesting as there are specific IUL products that are not available to other brokerage even if you are appointed to transamerica and western reserve life as they have a private contract with world financial group and their agents to sell these.

Recruiting other agents is the only way you'll get a decent enough payout to make your time worthwhile at WFG. spammer.

Not really what you do is up to you, in this industry if you want to keep selling, you're going to eventually burn out. No one said you have to recruit, you can just do personal as an independent agent, however even if you are contracted to another brokerage and are appointed with transamerica and western reserve life there are some IUL products that you will not be able to have access to, unless you are appointed with WFG as we have a private contract with these top providers for certain products.

He asked what companies have some good IUL products and I told him where and how. If he wants to have access to products, he has to be contracted with WFG, he doesn't have to quit his other brokerage if he doesn't want to.

There are people in WFG that don't recruit and still do personal sells and still are able to make six figures. As an independent agent in any other company you do the same.

Also it's rude to call someone a spammer when they are only giving someone information.

It's rude to offer a 25% contract to a new agent when they can easily get 55% from a career agency with REAL training... or 85%+ as an independent broker.

The MLM-type of financial services is a rude business model on the true professionals who really make a difference, instead of attending 'rah-rah' meetings about how much money you're making off of all these untrained recruits.

Remember, ALWAYS remember this: in the WFG business model, if you're not selling a company with an approved selling contract (remember, you're a broker dealer, so you had better be selling approved products), none of your "uplines" get paid.

Apparently, you don't know the rules of being with a broker/dealer affiliated company.

You don't know what you don't know.

----------

It's not necessarily your fault... but yes, I'm hostile to WFG and Primerica reps. They think they know everything about anything, but the reality is they know nothing about anything. And it's consistent.

I'd invite you to prove me wrong... but you can't. WFG and Primerica attract the bottom dregs of agents/reps, so I would never associate with such a company, nor recommend anyone else that they join them either.

Birds of a feather... and all that.

If that's how you feel then that's your opinion, however I could say the same to you. You don't know what you don't know.

And think about it mathematically if you will, would you rather have 25% of a big account versus 55% of a small account. If you can close big accounts then good for you, if not then you need to be humble and willing to learn.

And please don't associate myself with Primerica reps either, I do not believe in their platform either. All this upline and downline is really nonsense. No one said you have to recruit, or even be part of WFG, you can be an independent in some other agency. The point of being independent is that you can keep your book of business if you want to transfer to another company. I'm not interested in being a captive agent and if I choose to leave the company I cannot take my book of business with me and have to start over from scratch. That's the point of being independent.

I'd rather have 85%+ on big AND small accounts.

And that's what I've got, and that's what I earn... because I paid my dues and I have the education, resources, and training that I need to serve my clients.

I've been doing this for over 10 years, so I'm not "new to the business".
