Norvax Email Problem

Yep, that's why I said Norvax is who needs to bitch at Yahoo to get them to stop blocking their domain.

Like I said B4... It aint happing... try again... it just aint that easy... they told me that they have been discussing the matterr with yahoo...... for going on 2 years... soooo... like i said, try again it aint that easy... kinda like gettin a felony conviction for dope... you got it and its done, will be on your record forever... unless you get a prez pardon and that is about as likely as yahoo un blocking norvax email

Ok, they have been discussing the matter with Yahoo for two years. Did they say the problem has NEVER been resolved during that two years or that it keeps reoccurring?

We have had problems with Norvax autoresponders being blocked by Yahoo, ymail, rocketmail, embarq, etc., etc. from time to time. But it does get fixed.

Norvax customer service sucks.. they could care less about fixing any issues. All they want is the 100 every month. Actually I'm not happy with any of the quote engines.. they all stink.

re: norvax is it possible to get the "view proposal" link embedded from your own autoresponder not tied to norvax?

If you had all the data necessary in your crm you could make a button that did it by generating a post string to open in a new window.

Er, technically It would be a get. Don't want the syntax nazis to come notice that.

You could use your crm triggers in your autoresponder to post the norvax variables that normally get passed to make a quote into the link URL on a button. like instead of a normal link format like:
<a href="brokeroffice.com/whateverpage">Get Quotes!</a>

You'd put your triggers in there so it would be like:

<a href="http://www.brokeroffice.com/whateverpage.htm?birthday=(birthday trigger)&sex=(M or F)&zipCode=(zip)>Get Quotes!</a>

Then when they clicked the text or preferably a button because you don't really want to use the word quote so much in an email because of spam filters, it would preload the variables for norvax. You need to know what variable it needs to be posted to, and what page needs to be requested, and your crm variable names for email generation to do it.

You can also ease the knowing of variables etc by looping it into a script back on your own site instead, there are a lot of ways to do it. I'm eventually going to make my autoresponder email have a set of links that can be clicked that will preload a quote back on my own site, and have it iframed there, so if they want to further navigate they're able to do so.

I'm sure that will be in rollout like 300 of my modifications.

It's very important of course that you can rely on your emailed proposals go through to the customer. What's worse is, when they don't go through, usually you don't know about it.
Connecture's BrokerAdvantage product (BrokerAdvantage, 1-888-652-0630) now has an AutoResponder as part of our PRO package. All emails that are generated go through an external service which monitors this closely and ensures that we have the highest delivery rate available. This isnt just for automatic emails, this is for the proposals that are emailed, which can also be a problem for other quoting services.
