Norvax Email Problem

Hotmail is definitely different than Yahoo. I'm not sure if Juno was bought by another big provider like Hotmail.

Are you STILL getting Yahoo blocked? Because I'm not. Or maybe I am but I am not seeing the bounce message--which would be a whole lot worse not knowing your mail is not going through.

AllGold...This is the message I get on Norvax-sent email to Yahoo:
Remote host said: 550 Error: Yahoo isn't accepting emails

However, I can still send them email and Norvax quotes. But it's the Norvax server that is being blocked and ALL of my autoresponder email that I pay an arm and a leg for.

they told me you need a dedicated server and complete access and control over your email servers to send auto responders from your server and not theirs.

Why in the world would you need a dedicated server? A simple smtp could handle that unless you're pumping out over 300 an hour, or 100 an hour to each site.

550 is one of the error kicks that yahoo has when they get more than a certain number of emails in an hour from the same host and it fills their buffer space. The claim is that somewhere between 100-200 an hour for 24 hour period is the yahoo/gmail/hotmail limit per smtp sending to avoid spammers.

Norvax can correct it by buying more smtp servers or throttling the email. They could also contact the providers in question and get whitelisted, or email through a strongmail service that is already whitelisted.

SMTP servers cost literally 15 dollars per month each NOT in bulk, and 1 server should handle the workload of 30 or 40 average agents, or 3-5 guys working 40+ leads a day.

It does need to be configured right.

Like I'm not a friggin genius but I send a lot of email without bounces and 550s with yahoo.

Quotit has a wierder problem, they use the users smtp, but they use flagged spam words inside the email, make the quote show up as a link at the bottom, and generally they drop right into spam.
