NYCM Question

Very great rates, the best customer service, the marketing reps are great they have a good reputation here. New home buyers with the auto home package have a really god rate.

That being said every piece of business is subject to an underwriting interview. They ask for the names and ages of everyone living in the home including small children. All adults in your home must provide nycm with their driver license and proof that they have their own insurance or they get added to the policy. For instance wrote a policy and my driver was renting a room out in her home to a relative and she volunteered all this information during the underwriting interview and the policy was cancelled because her relative would not give her his driver license and copy of his insurance cards. He had his own car and insurance and was just staying in a room temporary while his home was fixed from a flood.

Another question they ask is have you ever been in an accident, again my client volunteered that she was in a not at fault accident in her mom's car while living in another state 2 years ago. Long story short we had to find out who her mom had for insurance two years ago and who paid the claim and get letter from that company saying my driver was not at fault. Since then I prep all of my clients for the underwriting calls multiple times and even write down what they need to say and not say. Sometimes your driver meets all the underwriting guidelines and they cancel it anyway so I have gotten leery of placing business with them.
