Part-time Options

Hello. New here and had a few questions for everyone. I'll start by saying I have read through the related posts. I'm looking at the possibilities of doing FE part time. I work in construction and I am looking to use insurance sales as supplemental income. I feel like my schedule would work. I get home generally at 3. There are also opportunities for me to put in more hours during times I'm laid off or right now for example I'm working nights and am home all day during the day. Even making 1k extra a month would be nice or more when I'm laid off and have even more time. Looking for some opinions and to be pointed in the right direction to go further. Thanks!

You might just find that your customers are on the jobsite. Get licensed first and see what happens

I know a guy in the Northeast that works part time and he made $140,000 last year. He can go over how he does it if you'd like.
Just shoot me an email.

Red flag warnings:
- Sales numbers that are too good to be true ($140k part time)
- Information that does not make sense (if the guy is making $140k part time, why didn't he go full time)
- Invitations to communicate directly where the other forum members can not see the information and call b.s.

Beware!

I thought that as well, but then I happened to see a post two spots down about how good of a guy he is haha.

Just be careful. I have noticed scammers usually also post their photos with a family, dog or cat. I am definitely not saying that someone using a pet or family in the photo is bad, but it's just one more nail in the coffin.

I just saw that thread too about what a great guy he is. He may very well be a great guy, but I can also say that the warning signs are there too.

Read my posts and you will know that I am an open book. I will answer any business questions you want right here!

As far as why he is part time, he made a commitment to finish college and he is almost done with it.

I made the offer because I didn't want to post someone else's contact info on here without asking. My info can be found in my signature.

So, what do you want to know?

I started in the business part time while running my full-time personal training business.

I also failed out of the business after a year, got a full-time sales job, and sold final expense part-time for a year before going back in full-time.

It's tough but can be done.

I wrote an article about my experience if you'd like to read it here: How I Sold Life Insurance Part-Time Successfully Before Going Full-Time
