PDP Renewals Running Behind

Got probably 10 calls/emails today dealing with this problem.

Clients getting letter stating "We will no longer deduct money for your PDP plan from your SSA check".

Premium is $0 for WCV, but they forget to mention that and clients freaking out because they forgot that it was $0
So, question regarding the above problem.

If the client chose to have PDP premiums deducted from SSA check, even though it was a $0 premium in 2025. In 2026, if they auto renew their PDP and the premium goes up to $5/mo, will the $5 be auto deducted from SSA check.

Given the language from SSA above, I'm concerned. Or, has the scenario above happened in the past?

Anyone finding that in addition to the PDPs lagging that enrollment in Part B is taking forever as well?

I am working with 2 different clients that enrolled in Part B using GEP earlier this month. One on Jan 3, the other on Jan 6. both still haven't heard anything back from SS

Client contacted me today about a letter she received from SSA indicating she is due a $50 refund for December.

Can't say if this is a SNAFU due to Aetna or SSA . . . but it resulted in a $50 January PDP premium deduction that was not supposed to happen.
