Postage going up another 7.4%. Legitimate dm has a few yrs left

The reality is, there's more profit in recruiting agents to sell LH than there is in writing the business yourself. Meanwhile, producers in the field often earn more by working with smaller, lesser-known carriers— even with the occasional policy rescission. And truthfully, any decent agent will replace the majority of LH policies they come across.

Let's do a quick hypothetical. Give a decent independent agent a list of 1,000 LH clients; give a top LH agent a list of 1,000 in return. Who writes more business? We all know the answer

The reality is that anyone would make a higher profit recruiting an agency regardless of what carrier you use. Could be 1 could be 100. That's where millionaires are made. Not as an agent. It's just how this business is.

If you gave a list of 1000 clients to any agent whose was appointed to any carrier with lower rates they would sell. Thats common sense.

But to say that Lincoln agents or any agents make more or less is moot. We know how much the average life insurance agents makes. Broker or captive. There are Lincoln agents that net as much as every average broker. And there are top Lincoln agents that net just as much as any top agent for any imo.

This kinda of stuff is just what agents say because they think the way they do business is the absolute best and only way to make a profit. Because that's how you were trained to think and what you have experienced. But it's not reality.

I bet I could find you an agent with whoever you thought had the worst program in the entire world that works just as hard as you and nets just as much.

This response is 100% correct . Every organization is brainwashed to believe there way is the best . Every organization wether they sell the highest priced product has top agents that kill it .One thing that is lost is Lincoln or senior life is selling a blue print of a business to build a team to become wealthy . That's why they have such success in recruiting. They snare people with the dreams of driving a Ferrari like Ted Wilson. Selling individually is just were you start . But what can't be denied is the following . 2 new agents trained the same . Agent #1 starts at 60-80% selling only 1 product and it's on the high price side. Agent # 2 starts at 100-120% and has 6 products to choose from . To be honest both agents have a slim chance of success . But agent #1's chance is much slimmer . Making such low commissions dooms him after chargebacks and lead costs. Rarely will that agent even see month 6 . And your correct the real wealth is in recruiting if you suceed . In fe it's impossible for an individual agent to net 7 figs after exp's .

I think what we really need to ask ourselves in this thread is, how posting about postage rates going up, which is good info for any agent, devolved into an argument about who's business model the best and ended with threats of violence.

Seriously. Why some agents defend the way you do business so hard and get so offended when someone does their business a different way.

It's always door knocking is better. No phone sales is better.

Well door knocking with appointments is better. No telesales is better with low lead cost and a dialer.

Well my imo is better. No my imo is better!

My imo has the most best top agents that make the most money

No my imo has the most best top agents that net the most money.

You're stupid!
You're an ***!

Let's meet!
I'd love to!

This is why the forum sucks. You can't even have a constructive conversation about anything. Without it devolving into an argument about who does business the best way and who makes the most money. And how everyone else is stupid.

As a solo producer, I would be very willing to take that bet. I don't work as hard as you think, and the worst programs have much lower contract levels. Even if they're closing lots of folks, the math is on my side.

So you see, it's not because I'm brainwashed the think my way is the best. It's because some ways are just worse for the average producer.

Are you having this conversation with me today so one day one of those average agents in a terrible program might read this and make more money? Are you posting because it benefits you? Maybe because it benefits the industry as a whole?

I know for sure who would benefit from thread like this.

An imo. A company that can put agents in a meeting or a conference call and pout to this thread and say…

Look at these broke dummies. They think you can't make 90 minutes of calls and schedule a full day of appointments. Jcc can. We all make so much money and are so much better for the average solo writer.

Come work for me! My system is the best. My system is the one true system. Do the math!

My imo would love nothing more than for me to flood a forum or social media with 150 agents talking about how our system is going to make you the most money.

But what good would that be for the agents? Would they spend more time or less time working would they make more money?

I would. But how much would that really help any new agent or existing agent?

I thought you had a few producers under you that you override ? Your saying you're 100% a sole producer ?

If any of the top producers on this forum wanted to really help new agents or an average agent produce more they would post their scripts.

Let's see who really cares about helping the average agent here.

Post your door approach script.
Post your appointment setting script.
Post your presentation script.
Post a list of objections and your rebuttals.

………..

Come on. Your imo won't mind. And it will help an agent out more than anything that has ever been posted here.

If you won't do that. Why?
