Preset appointments

I've been approached by several companies lately that say they will send me out on 5 preset appointments a day to sell medicare advantage plans. For every plan i sell they will pay me $200 they say the close ratio is 40% so 25 appointments a week should equal 10 sales. Anybody familiar with this?

If you are actually going to the prospect's home and sitting down with them to explain MA plans and how they work and do a good job of it I don't believe that you can successfully do that with five people a day.

I do not sell MA plans, just Med Supps, but three appointments a day, including travel time between them, is all I want and can handle successfully. But, I work in the "country". Maybe if I worked in KC and the appointments were well organized by geographic area but five is still a lot if done well.

The average Med Supp appointment will take me between 1.75 and 2 hours. I not only want them to take the policy but I want to begin building a relationship with them. I still have clients with Med Supps that I wrote in the early and mid 90's.

Same here, Frank... the minimum time I allow on my busiest day is two hours per appointment, and sometimes that isn't enough. On rare occasion (with an astute client), I can get through earlier.... Usually the older the client, the longer it takes. (This is not a put-down... it is a fact of aging... and we are all going to be there someday. I accept this as part of my job.)

one of the companies is Advanced Health & Life Benefit LLC out of TN they carry Secure Horizons and Windsor. The other is RJR/SHC and i don't know who they actually represent. It just seems like i spend over 60% of my time prospecting with the leads i get from my company which are mostly t65 list. The first company does not charge for the preset appointments. They also don't mind if you cross sell other products that you might represent.

I'm basically just looking to see if anybody has any experience in this area.

How will they Pre-set MA appointments since CMS has said we can no longer cold call seniors?

Ramiz... where did you find that avatar...?

Swat, swat, swat... Ramiz "used" to be such a nice guy....
