That's why I resent all this massive advertising by the AARP's., Colonial Penn, and the Medicare Advantage co's. If you notice, most health advertising is aimed at the seniors. With a call-in # so enrollers can sign them on the spot. They flash that 800 # on TV so even the brain-dead drooler has time to write it down, and call them up.
We are massively out-gunned in marketing dollars. How come they don't advertise major medical that way? Don't see ads for Golden Rule, or Assurant, or other carriers persuading the young and middle-aged to buy their products. Aflac being an exception. I get a coupon booklet about once a month and i might get an insert of Kaiser and bc/bs medical rates/ages but that's it.
They're going to crank up their marketing for the fall. When the carnival starts in Oct. just get ready.
