Quarantine and Insurance sales

It is all a hoax by the Ferengi.

I saw it on Facebook.

Hoax or not, this is ridiculous. If this keeps up, what's going to happen to out-of-state returning college students in less than two months?

I'm in PA and planning a visit to NC late August. Surprised PA isn't on the bad list (yet) along with the three others. But I'm putting my plans on hold for a little while now.

It was a joke. I do not think it a Commie hoax. My son and daughter in law surprised us here in California last week from Maryland. His job in DC had said he would have to be quarantined 14 days ao return.

I figured you were joking.

How are they going to handle the quarantine? Working remotely before going back to the office (if possible)?

Yeah, remotely. Which is limited as he works in a very controlled setting.

However, they had to do the baby announcement in person.

I went to a family funeral this morning. At least a half dozen relatives are higher level RNs. All of them are saying we are in for a rough time before the end of the year. I am thinking I am going to be preparing my business and household.

Nothing like the sound, smell, and feel of a baby to make all the troubles of the world to melt away.

If you would have asked me in college if I would ever love giving baths and powdering butts I would have looked at you like you were crazy... I can honestly say I really miss those days. :)

That's such a wonderful blessing @WinoBlues.

Yeah, priorities change.

A couple of months ago I was really complaining about the cost and maintenance of our pool. That and being a two story house I was thinking it may be time to sell.

However, for the last month 4 or 5 times a week my young granddaughter and my son have been night swimming. She is learning to swim and spending daddy time.

I guess I can maintain it a couple more years.

Had one through 3 kids... several to be exact, nothing in ground. Best decision regarding a pool was the day I went salt water and put on a chlorine generator... Can't tell you the time and chemical cost i saved.

Funny story, when my son was about 8 or 9 we had one of those intex pools and he shot an arrow in it. He said he thought it would just bounce off. Still have a pic somewhere of it sticking out the side.

Worth the hassle... fun times and good stories.

My daughter came home from VA because the medical school she is attending went to online classes. Been here since March. She has 10 months of clinicals left where she will work with different specialist. Trying to diagnose a patient on a computer screen is not the same as F2F. She leaves tomorrow to go back. Her school may put her in quarantine for 2 weeks. She has start working with a cardiologist on July 6th. Now this may be delayed. Supposed to graduate in May 2021, but who knows. On top of all of this the school had a double digit increase in tuition. I think this is bad timing. Maybe she can graduate with less than $150,000 in student loans.
