Anyone use radio ads before?

I have a smaller station offering me a SMOKING deal.....

I dont know anyone who has used them before

i have...good leads but very expensive when you figured out cost per lead....$200 per lead range.

The best setup I had was when the consumer could call an automated phone line, that would prompt consumer with additional questions based on their answers...that way they could answer questions while driving, and have an email with quotes by the time they made it to work or home.

I tried Radio ads before it did not work for me. It was expensive and got no leads out of it. It works for big insurance companies or brokers. Also the client who would call usually is not the best one.

I would spend my money on net leads or direct mail that usually works better for me. Good Luck

I think if you really want to kick ass on the radio and since you are in a small town, get to know the host and get invited as a guess to answer questions over the phone about the products you are selling.

That will get people to sit up and take notice.

Most radio stations will gladly do that, for a fee. But it can be very valuable.

I use to live in a small town and the morning guys did that all the time. Had guests on to pitch their product or service. Also, they'd go off on tangents about the company, but only billed for the 30 second spot. It could really be a boost for the right product or service.

Some of the most popular people on the radio are not known for "holding back". I'll bet it could be very entertaining and ratings would probably soar. That's the kind of stuff lots of people love to listen to.

ok here is my deal,

I can get 56 commercials a month, I pick when they run, for $200 a month, and I can get one of my carriers to pay for half if I use one of their preapproved ads.....

So $100 out of my pocket, basicly, you kinda have to do it for that cheap!
