Sales 101 for Agents

Good going, John. I need to start making sales videos and start up business videos. Most agents fail their first year but that is common in any business. Education is the answer- yourself first and then your prospect and give them what they want and can easily afford. It takes money and a solid marketing plan.

Thanks a million for producing and sharing your recording!

Some of the points you mentioned, I put to use today. Specifically the Mr. and Mrs thing. I never realized that but I think you're right.

Also, I got a kick out of your example of how to handle someone who questions high deductibles (or other coverages) by letting them come to the conclusion themselves. I try to practice this myself but often times, they still don't get it! I had one client tell me that he doesn't see why his insurance company would cover his $200 claim (He had a $250 deductible). Not sure how to show someone that this is standard protocol but I attempted to and failed miserably.

Show the people the difference in premium with zero deductible. That they'll understand. When the insured has a stake in the game, they'll take better care of themselves.

I need some "brushing up" after a long absence, so thanks for posting.

Hey, hey....I think I see some "copyright infringement" here. :skeptical:

I particularly liked the idea of laying out options to buy : "Would plan A or B be a better fit for your budget? Either one will help you address this problem so you can sleep a little better tonight". I used this with great success in worksite sales over the years where a second visit was not a realistic option.

Exactly, sometimes it may be something else though. I try my best to not lecture my clients, lol. However, sometimes I get a client who wants to lecture me, which is fine, except 99% of the time they're wrong. Meh. :skeptical:
