Spoke with Amerilife. It was originally going to be a career agent product only. They are now opening it up to independent agents. Same commission for everyone (not setting up a heirarchy structure). Currently 16% for life. They hope it is changing to 24% first year and 17% renewal for life.
Wakely and Associates is the underwriter. Three year look back. Drug list decline. Random phone interviews based on meds. Paper app (no e-app yet - may or may not be one). Can sell over the phone.

Not too exciting. Companies should be required to have an e-app before they release their product...
I agree. Would much prefer an e-app.
One other thing I didn't mention, this product is available in 5 states (GA, TX, IN, KY & OH).
