Stopped Part B and wants to get it back

I've run into a situation where a 70 year old has been enrolled in his GHP along with A&B and MAPD. He dropped his MAPD last fall and just dropped his Part B effective 1/31. The company is now moving to an ICHRA so he will have to get Part B back. My assumption is that he can get it back now during GEP but wanted to run it by a few of you to make sure I wasn't missing something.
