Im planning out a drip marketing course for T65's.

So, Topics I want to cover are:

What is Tradition Medicare and how it works (A/B)
What is Medicare Advantage and how it works
How PDP works
How to select a Medicare Supplement.

For you guys that work T65, what are a few of the common things you get questions about?

Thanks in advance!

Mention the Part B & D monthly premiums and possible IRMAA impact. Most people are unaware of these. A lady nearly passed out on me a few months back as it impacted her. She fought it and had it reversed but was really stressed out. Wished she knew about it a few years before retiring as she wouldn't have worked OT the past few years.

State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs/Extra Help.

What about my spouse who is under 65 and health insurance for them?

Part D penalties if delayed

Some say I have worked all my life why do I have to pay anything, ( Premiums, Out of pocket costs)

How to deal with all the calls and mail

Many want to know about Dental

Higher cost for some type of meds on medicare Insulin inhalers and such and the doughnut hole

Beginning in 2020, isn't it going to be referred to now just as the "coverage gap?" Supposedly the damn donut is "going away," but costs are going up.

I just went through drug check on a lady who was in the last stage this year paying 5%

Her costs are going up next year because the gap will last longer

Its not going away

Perhaps it is now to be thought of as the invisible donut?

Thanks! I'm going to keep this post up for additional feedback. I've got a 10 article course lined up with some of the feedback.

So I think it's a great start point for building trust, authority, and long term list building for nurturing.

People don't like to read, especially long, detailed posts, emails, etc.

Use bullet points, 3 or 4 max, and make them informative as well as teasers (click bait). No more than 300 words. Short paragraphs, 2 sentences or 3. Use subheadings tied to bullet points and bold key words for emphasis.

Use a conversational style and avoid getting into the weeds too deep.

I know you don't like to do video's but that has really helped my marketing effort. Folks will watch a 5 - 10 minute video before reading 300 - 400 words no matter how well written.

This is not scientific, especially since some of my videos have been up longer than others. Most popular topic is one I did about Optum Rx. It has a lot of play because it is topical. Stole the idea from the ARP forum where there are a LOT of complaints about Optum. May not work well in print but tossed it out.

Behind Optum is "How are insurance agents paid". Some folks think it costs more to use an agent. Others think I charge a fee.

Close behind that is "Medigap rate increases"

Then "Anthem Blue Cross". They like information about carriers they know.

Feel free to use any of the topics but try not to plagiarize. I might have to send Guido around to pay a visit.

I plan to do videos as part of this campaign. The pages I have set up for This aren't going to be great to rank for.

I don't know if these are germane to what you want to do, but

Medicare is not managed by Social Security, even though you have to apply there.

Medicare eligibility age is no longer the same as Social Security full retirement age.

Forms for delayed part B application.

I see even some agents on the site being confused about the time frames for the Part B and Med Sup enrollments when Part B is delayed due to employment.

Part A and HSA

Part B and Part D penalty free enrollment time frames coming off working past 65 are different. I was misinformed about this by a national med sup sales person and narrowly avoided having a (small) part D penalty as a result.

What does and does not (employer type coverages) count as creditable Part D coverage.
