Has anyone used or is anyone using the todays options LMS to order leads. If so how are they. They claim to close 50% and get a response of 2.6

I don't sell that product, but I've talked to several agents who do and none of them who tried to hire me has mentioned this option. The prospecting methods I've heard are calling on their existing clients, advertising, holding seminars or meetings, etc. and cold calling leading with their supplement.
Have not used them. But, I do have their information from Pyramid.
I was not given their close %'s like you have. But, if their 2.6% return allows you to close 50%, that would be about $20 a contract. To me, it is worth a try. If you close just 2 or 3, it will be a break even. Seems to be worth the risk.
I do intend to try it, once I have the major doctors and hospitals agreeing to accept MA plans.
I do believe you have to be signed up with Pyramid to use the service. Don't know that though.
Cost is $250 per thousand. Minimum 2000 order. You order by zip code.

I've used them for 2 mailing of 2,000 pieces each. One to Santa Barbara, CA and the other to Mohave County, AZ. I received about a 2% response but still found it difficult to "seal the deal." Just like Final Expense, it seems most people who responded had no idea what they were requesting.
Out of 10 leads, I might get 3 appointments and MAYBE place 1. Perhaps I suck at selling, but I doubt it.
Just life Final Expense leads, it's relatively easy to get a card back, but still difficult to make the sale.
Out of the 4,000 pieces, I sold enough to basically break even on the costs, gas, etc. Well, that's not exactly true since when I go to Arizona I stay a few miles away in Laughlin, NV. On the 2 trips there, I hit royal flushes on video poker totalling $12,000 (and left with that amount), so I guess that technically I made money by doing the mailings.

Surprised to hear final expense leads are not buying. Usually that was a good mkt if insurable.

I have mailed out about 5500 pieces through LMS and have sold about 50 policies from those mailings. I have found about 2.7% response and sell about 25% of those reponders not incl spouses.
Cost $.275 x 5500 = $1500
$1500/50 = $30 per sale
$250 first year commish x 50 = $12500
833% ROI
