Tri-fold or Envelope

For AEp to target MA, my supplier has tri-folds and envelope versions of the mail piece. For the tri-fold . which seems to look a little better than the envelope the date says 2011 Important Changes to Medicare,, etc.. the envelope can say 2012. would 2011 for aep be not the best way to go and hence use the envelope style instead of the tri-fold bec the tri-fold says 2011 and not 2012?

I dunno but the changes are in 2011 for 2012. Why not split up your mailing 50/50 and see which gets the best results.

The envelope will produce a better response rate. More people will put their date of birth and contact info if you have an envelope to hide this information when they send it back.
