WellCare *STEALING* Clients & FL Blue not paying commissions!

FL
Only the "best" choice for this very small niche of clients. Network's and Dental is the main concern for these few.
thats interesting. Are you in the panhandle or Big Bend where there aren't many alternatives?
I haven't written a WellCare MAPD in a few years now. There have always been equally good or better alternatives to them for me.
Not saying that I don't believe you, just curious.

I do everything I can to avoid that company, I've just had too many bad experiences with them over the years.

I held my nose and wrote 1 wellcare this aep as most other mapds pulled out of this county . I made the mistake of writing Cigna this aep has they had some killer products but their customer service is as bad as wellcare. From now on I'm only writing the big 3 in mapd Unh,Humana and Aetna . If i lose business i don't care . I got to be able to service . I know some areas have some good regionals .

I've had issues with Wellcare commissions many time over the years. They are dead to me. Especially after the pulling of renewal commissions. I only use them out of necessity for their $0 PDP, and I absolutely hate doing it, but if its the right thing for the client I wont put my feelings ahead of doing what is right.

As for Florida Blue, I never had an issue with them as far as commissions go. But getting support from anybody other than a local market manager can be difficult.
Yes, agree about the Wellcare $0 PDP. Yeah, hate doing it, but I'm happy to have the Med Supp business. As for Florida Blue, this year I placed three cases with them but got paid for only two. Had to open a channel request ticket to have it reviewed, which they did, and I'm supposed to see missed commission next month. We'll see.

Hey everyone :)

A wonderful day here.

Just dealing with 4 of my WellCare clients disappearing from my book like a rabbit in a hat. And WellCare is taking almost 7 business days now to do nothing about it :)))). Guess who I found they got "re-assigned" too somehow? Amerilife! (not saying they did it on purpose but just putting it out there, most likely a clerical error on WellCare's end as Amerlife is within my hierarchy.) Still pisses me off.

Gotta love it! These 4 clients I renewed personally and know very well and claimed to have spoken to no one else. No record of an AOR change or Plan Change request.

FL Blue also has claimed to pay commissions on a client and "sees" it on my commissions statement but it is clearly not there!

Has anyone else experienced BS like this and had to spend hours of their week dealing with it?

I don't care if WellCare pays $50/month in the future, I will never direct business to that company ever again, for anything....any line of insurance...I don't care. They are nothing but thieves that can't be trusted. Trust is a very hard thing to gain and so very easy to lose.

Surely, there can't be a compliance complaint for not getting a SOA on these plans if we're not receiving commissions and there isn't a premium. If so, it's not worth it. Tell them to contact the call center and let them deal with. I'll write the supp.
