What would be a job title for someone who calls out to leads and transfers them to an agent?

All joking aside, I would say "inside sales", "telemarketer", or "presales" would be the terms I think would be correct based on my 22 years in sales.

A telemarketer calls for appointments. I used to telemarket to set my own appointments.

How about calling them "feeders"?

Telemarketer sounds right. I don't know that it really matters. If the guy/gal is great at her job...they will call me with whatever they want! LOL.
