What should contact be for Ameritas

Agree @vic120 about the struggles of clients needing to submit claims to Manhattan. If you have clients who are 55-75 and with it, that may work. But the majority of my clients have too much going on to be trying to get invoices submitted after the fact for reimbursement.

I have moved to Ameritas and a couple months back would have said I love it. Love the network.

2 things I don't love.
1. Prices in and around Atlanta went way up.
2. As someone already said, the "lite" plan moved x-rays out of preventative into basic. BOOOOOO!

But as others have mentioned, love Ameritas's shopping link I can give clients and they can self-enroll. That option is super easy for my downline agents who are newbies and have enough to worry about without learning the ins and outs of a dental product.

Have you looked at NCD? Metlife has a very large network and is great at paying claims

I’m not sure about others here but there’s one major issue with MetLife. I can’t easily send someone quotes.
There’s eight plans, essentials, elite plans, complete…I don’t understand all the plans, I’m not sure how clients can.

I want a brochure with the premiums on it and a link they can enroll themselves. That’s it. I don’t want them looking through eight plans and getting confused. I don’t want to spend more than 5 minutes looking up options, getting a quote, and checking dentist. There’s not enough commissions to make it worth it.

Once they make a brochure with premiums for each age band, I’ll start showing them.

I like Cigna and the comp is good. They waive comprehensive waiting period with prior coverage, and they consider MAPD dental allowances to be creditable prior coverage.

What is the comp?

Is there network good or do half the people not find their dentist
This was why I went to Manhattan in the first place because most plans you cant find half the peoples dentists

this is why I like ameritas they have a good network. most of the time I can find their dentist or an acceptable dentist

They waive the comprehensive waiting period? Entirely? I haven’t seen this but I rarely write their plans.

As far as I know I just started really selling it a couple months ago more so this month

but that is the way it seems to me

But on the other hand I never though waving the waiting period could be anything but completely

what does that even look like

How do you see their network?

How would you see them as a product for an agent doing multistate phone sales?

Mapd allowances as creditable prior coverage is cool. It seems like that might be an unusual feature.

It’s a decent network. Careington PPO network and I believe also Dentemax. Provider needs to be in one of them.

The Cigna plan is a PPO.
