So the wife broke her ankle this past monday and has been out of work and the kids haven't gone to daycare and its been crazy around here....Today I got two (2) wonderful direct mail pieces from Gerber for their Grow Up plan. I promptly return the applications in the postage paid envelopes....I hope they don't mind that they were blank...

Re: Why I Love Snail Mail Junk Mail.

I use to do that occassionally, but never consistently. I wonder how many blank envelopes they get like that each day.

Re: Why I Love Snail Mail Junk Mail.

Sometimes it's the little things in life that can bring one great satisfaction.

I also enjoy doing that when I think about it. Occasionally I write a little note on it.

Hope your wife is getting on okay.

Re: Why I Love Snail Mail Junk Mail.

I wonder what the employee who opens those envelopes thinks the first time it happens...Do they think, our target market is so clueless they forget to fill out the app or do they think...Those filthy rotten b*stards?

Re: Why I Love Snail Mail Junk Mail.

I fill them out and put my name and address as Frank Stastny.

Didn't think of doing that....I could fill out the name address telephone number of soe of my former prospects that were "You can't fix stupid" type and send it in, think Gerber will hound them?

It's okay to say "bastards". Don't "hold back".

They are probably making $8 per hour and could care less.

They are like the a-holes who are suppose to provide support that hardly speak English and all they can say is "Oh, I'm so sorry, may I put you on hold please".

Companies could care less about their consumers, we who put money in their pockets. Don't get me started, I could go on for months. haha

All 18,000 of us need to start a campaign to put "Return to Sender" on every piece of junk mail we receive. Probably won't make any difference though.

I wish there was a way to do that with spam e-mail that would cost them money when we do. Even as little as $.05 would put a stop to a lot of it.

Let's hear from the lead vendors on this.:swoon:

Re: Why I Love Snail Mail Junk Mail.

Gee, thanks guys. Those reply cards drive up the costs of all the mailers I do to those on the DNC.

All of my reply cards have the name and address pre-printed and if they return them blank, that means a visit to their house right away since they were in such a rush to get it in the mail.
