Wireless Headset

Here are the best ones:

Plantronics Voyager Pro + for cell phone. The thing sounds better than the phone's mic. It's not the prettiest though.

For the office, you need a Plantronics CS361N. It comes in monoaural or binaural (for 1 ear or two ears) It's wireless and by far the best sound quality you can get for the money (around $200)

Personally, if you haven't used a binaural headset, you're missing out. You can concentrate better and can talk on the phone longer.

I think they have an avaya branded version also that you can sometimes get a good deal on. It's the same thing except it has an additional feature where you don't have to have a lifter with certain avay phones. I think they call it "supraelite" whereas the plantronics branded version is "supraplus"

"Plantronics Voyager Pro + for cell phone"

I concur. I have used many bluetooth headsets over the years. I got this one last week, and have asked many people while talking to them if they could hear me clearly. IN EVERY CASE, they could not believe I was on a cell phone, and were stunned when I told them I was on a bluetooth wireless headset. I bought it used on ebay for $29.00 with free shipping. The cheapest and best one I've ever had, and very comfortable after hours of wearing it making calls.;)

I can't imagine it wouldn't. It plugs in where the handset normally plugs in and then you just lift the receiver and talk. Obviously a cordless phone wouldn't work. Buy it on Amazon and then you can return it with no hassle if it doesn't work.

I think the new version can be used on the computer AND the office phone if that interests you.

Thank u I will try it. By the way what is the distance on that?

If it's through walls, I would say 100 ft. I can go all the way accross my office with it. (6 walls) The good thing is it doesn't hang up the call, it just cuts out where you can't hear it for a second. When you backtrack it's right back where you left off.

Sound quality is better than any other wireless solution I've found.

BTW, let me know if you go with binaural....it's an awesome experience.

BTW, if you want a cheaper version of the cell phone one, just get the voyager pro. The pro+ is only different in that you can listen to stuff on your computer as a headset and to MP3s on your phone. The non+ version works the same for regular calls, etc.

You've asked, so here it is. By far the BEST price on these things you're going to find. This is the UC version which means it works as a cell phone headset (as mentioned above), but also works for calls made on your computer. These things are usually $130 on up depending on store. On sale (i'm assuming not for long) for $59.
