As always the authority sites, are fine. In fact, as Jeremy said the insurance lead gen landscape was hit pretty hard, basically yesterday (over the weekend).

Yah the lead gen stuff is crazy. I did some traffic buys today and without doubt it was the highest pricing I have seen. The bids to get leads are way higher than they were when I was buying 3 months ago. Ehealth is getting more leads than ever which means for anyone that buys Internet leads, they will be oversold more than ever!

There are some funny things going on , usual crap that happens after a G update, viagra sites ranking for ins keywords, about EMD's , google "affordable health insurance".....look at those EMD's that didnt get hit....

Or google pompano auto insurance. The results are awful! Not even relevant. There is a massage parlor there.

That's interesting because from about Thursday last week my lead count has increased about 2.5x for my non-EMD but none of my major rankings nor average traffic / day changed. What's crazy is now I'm converting about 50% of my SERP click through to quotes not even counting direct call ins from the site. I was wondering why but if G cleared out all the crappy lead affiliate sites, then I'm sitting pretty.
