InsureTech Connect moving to Mandalay Bay in 2021

Insurance Forums Staff

The organizers behind InsureTech Connect put out a “save the date” this week for the 2021 edition of the conference, which is focused on getting back to a live, in-person event in a hopefully post-pandemic world by next fall.

“We learned many things during ITC Global, one of which was just how excited people were to get back together in person,” says the “save the date” email. “We are too, and that is why we are pleased to be able to share the dates for ITC Vegas 2021.”

The conference, billed as “the world’s largest gathering on insurance innovation and digital transformation,” is scheduled for Oct. 4-6, 2021, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

“After two great years at the MGM [in 2018 and 2019], we will now be calling Mandalay Bay home. The move to Mandalay gives ITC almost double the previous space—great for connecting and learning in the safest way possible,” the announcement says.

The 2020 version of the event went fully virtual, like just about every other conference since the COVID-19 pandemic took hold. Called ITC Global, it was held Oct. 19-21, and featured more than 200 speakers from around the world.

While being together again in person is the stated goal for the 2021 conference, organizers Jay Weintraub and Mee-Jung Jang add that “being together safely is paramount. In the near future, we will share specific details of our Together Again Safely plan.”

Registration for ITC Vegas will open in December. “We understand that not everyone is ready or able to make decisions today about next year, but we do want to make sure those who want to lock in the best rates possible can,” organizers said. “We are also working on our first ever ‘Virtual Vegas’ ticket. We will be able to share more details as registration opens.”

More than 75 companies have already signed on as sponsors for ITC Vegas 2021. For more information about becoming a sponsor, interested persons or companies can contact Josh Grossman ([email protected]).
