Advertising in church bulletins/programs

Has anyone ever tried placing ads in the back of the church programs/bulletins they hand out every week?
My church has 2 full 8.5x11 pages of small ads. Cost is $450/yr ($8.65/wk)
Seems high for what it is but then 1 sale would likely pay for it.
Anyone tried it before?

Depending on the denomination, this might actually work... If I went to church, I would get a chuckle and potentially call and ad like this...
