Where you start this year is based on what you did last year. So if you did 11+ the entire year of 2007 you start at 20%. If you did less than 5 in '07 you're at 15% to start.
Now, for 2008 once you've written the 11th app you go to 20%, even if it takes you 6 months to do it. So no, it's not quarterly like the bonus program from last year.

It is per year - Once you reach a higher level, they will not roll it back regardless of future production. I am at 20% now.

11 seems like a pretty low number. Unless, they are trying to weed out casual producers and part-timers.

Need to correct myself - I should have stated that it was 11 total in a single year. As has already been mentioned, once you hit your 11th in a single year you go to a 20% contract from then on.

Now they just need to either do away with maternity or make it optional and lower the MD rates.
