AHIP studying and Carrier certification for MAPD

PCBI...

The "circus" meaning the carrier? If they leave town and end their MAPD plan, then you lose your commission...

Well, don't you just put your client with another MAPD and continue getting your commission that way?

The time involved ti switch 200-300 BOB is absurd. My advice stick with products in the insurance business that are guaranteed renewable

Life dental med sup hosp indemnity

Too many newbies putting way to much business in a govt program could really get burnt by Washington

None of those are guaranteed. But go ahead and try again

That is what most agents would do and they understand that it is part of the business much like you do with Med Supps. Some agents don't seem to be able to grasp this concept and the next thing you know they are on a forum much like this one complaining about having to do AHIP each and every year and how that's BS and besides, the government is eventually going to take every dime you make anyway. Paranoia will destroy ya! :goofy:

compared to MAPD they are guaranteed. My LTC policies from 1994 are still in force. At some point in retirement its about taking care of ur peeps in claims not taking more regulatory tests just to keep commissions

IMO this will change as agents and agencies have more retirees that find it rather annoying. u will see the light in retirement

keep selling boyz
