Another MOJO Dialer Question...

Do you think the "Caller Unknown" makes any difference? If it's impacting the results you can get, why can't they change that at mojo?

It has to effect it some. I still get plenty of people to talk to but could always use more. I'm not sure why they couldn't change it.

I think it's going to depend on , what kind of phones you are calling.

If most of your numbers are cell phones, won't make a difference.

Landlines maybe it will have an effect.

It's not a mojo issue. It's a CNAME lookup, which is provided by the carrier who actually owns the number. That's why mojo can't fix it.

My MOJO question: I understand mojo is primarily a dialer, but is it also a CRM? Does it let me send emails to people and do mailmerge to documents? I don't need the 'triple dial' function they offer, but I do need a way to talk to people and send them information, all from one system.

I use MOJO and I do not think it's what you are looking for.

The CRM features are not that robust.

You might want to checkout FREECRM.com, I believe they now offer a dialer with their hosted CRM platform.

I wish freecrm would give some details on how their voicecrm works. It's reasonably priced, but I hate to pay just to see what the product is supposed to do.

I'm actually thinking of using Vanillasoft. They have almost exactly what I want, price is similar to Mojo, but it is more of a crm with a dialer, rather than a dialer with a crm. The drawback is while they do email (even from templates), they don't do any true paper style mailmerge.

Of course, there is always just pick up the phone and dial!!!!

That's an idea. the thing I didn't like about VanillaSoft was the inability to dial in.

I like dialers such as HelloHunter, MOJO, InsideSales, which allow me to call in to the dialer's server for making calls, instead of using a softphone. That's just me though. VanillaSoft does have more CRM features that you would probably use day in and day out.

I've never used InsideSales, though I've heard good things. I could never get past the upfront fee with them. Maybe they have changed their model a bit.

The idea of HelloHunter tied to a salesforce account is appealing. A bit expensive, but it would have the functionality I want.

Of course, my ACT system works. It's paid for. Just not as fast as I want it to be, and I'm starting to work on some LARGE lists (tens of thousands), it's not as scalable as I need.

If it was just calling, something like MOJO would work great for me. I need something that supports full campaigns, from direct mail marketing, to email, to phone, to complete reporting and tracking.

The search goes on. In the meantime, pen & paper and my finger dialing works pretty well :)

If you want a dialer , but don't want to spend $100-150 month, check out CallFire.com. They lease the dialer by the hour. I think it's works out to be $4 per hour.

Is anybody familiar with MaxMyCalls or Global Selling? Is is less expensive than Mojo, and seems to have a few features Mojo doesn't offer.
