Another MOJO Dialer Question...

.... I built a callcenter with Vicidial. It is a pain to configure it correctly and there is not much help from the community. You have to pay for the manuals which costs you 200 dollars. If you pay for consulting, yes, you get it. You are looking to pay 200 to 400 dollars for the consulting to get it installed and configured. You also need your hardware server for 400 to 700 dollars. Once you get it setup, you can have as many lines as your hardware can handle. I am currently running 4 seats, possible expanding to 12 seats. The expansion will be in Philippine since I can hire for 900 dollars per month per telemarketer without any other cost. Here in US, I have to pay 10 dollars or more per hour. If I hire full time telemarketers, I may have to pay benefit. So there is no doubt to go overseas. Anyway, we all want to make money and reduced the cost. Find any way to suit your needs.

Is this better than just hiring a telemarketer with their own phone equipment from the Philippines for $250 a week?

I hire Philippines as telemarketers. They have a computer and a phone line. That's it. For them to do the compaign for you, you have to provide them with a telemarketing platform like Mojo to improve the efficiency and better record keeping. Manual dialing is slow and not efficient. If you want, there are services available from Philippine call center for 100 dollars and 150 dollars per month, similar to Mojo. But I choose to do it my own so I can expand and can let my agents to do their own compaign without restriction (monthly subscription from Mojo etc). I believe I can serve my agents better this way.
If anyone needs information about Philipine agent/telemarketer, let me know. pomfinancialllc at gmail dot com

Is anyone still using the prerecorded feature (where the consumer presses 1 to speak to you)? Is it still feasible for consumer/ business market?

That has been illegal in the U.S since Sept. 1. There has to be a live person on the phone when a prospect picks up, unless you are a politician or a charity, I believe.

I believe that what you need is the software, the headset, the voip services. The software costs you already know, the headsets would be 30 dollars per set. Most stores have plenty to choose from. The voip services is cheap, 1 cent to 1.5 cents per minutes. You can also use those unlimited plan too. But if you are making a lot of calls, most unlimited plan has 3000 minutes soft cap for consumer line and 5000 minutes for business line per month. So for heavy users, it is better to get per minute line. I got my line for an average of 1 cent per minute.
I am not sure the voicent has good reporting function. But other services would be good to use with reporting functions. Mojo costs 100 dollars or more per month to use their system with unlimited calling. But you have to have a line to connect to their line. That is another cost to you. If you can get good leads from the Mojo, the cost is nothing compared with the sales volume increase. I know people used Mojo and got good results. But I have not seen anyone claiming good success with Voicent. I personally own Voicent Broadcastbyphone. It was a 3 line one. But I never use it due to the Skype limitation. Now they have voip option which is good. But I might have to pay to upgrade from version 6.5 to version 7. I am not sure I want to do that.
If you are technically capable, you may look into the free callcenter software like vicidial, osdial. I built a callcenter with Vicidial. MOJO actually has a DIAL-BACK feature, which allows their computer to dial you. It is only an additional $25.00 a month and you are using THEIR minutes instead of your's. That's cheaper than unlimited long distance with my phone carrier.

i have been using MOJO for about 2 months now. i like mojo because of the call quality. I am very familiar with predictive dialers from other companies, but I think predictive dialers have a more defined delay before the inital pick up. i came across a discount/coupon for MOJO at dialerdiscount.com for $25/month off per agent for new sign ups.
i also like that mojo also has an unlimited database of leads to tap into. It helps if you are doing b2b sales or if you need an ultra cheap way to prospect non-stop to b2c...but make sure you scrub against the DNC because MOJO leaves that up to you.

I'm reviving this thread because I may be going to where I use mojo to call for med supps too.

I have two questions that may be something that's covered on the mojo website.

1) When I'm calling Joe and Suzy Prospect, what comes up on their caller ID?

2) I've heard that calls are recorded. How is this done, stored, and is it able to be accessed and saved as a WAV or similar file by the agent?

Ok, I got it clear

I have the same question! lol plus anyone know where to get consumer data?

I looked for the mojo $99 and found these guys. Seems like a good deal...
301 Moved Permanently

The feature set of mojo with the built in CRM is a little different, mojo can also add real time leads directly into the dialing queue as they come in.

you work for mojo or something? most dialers can do this...its not rocket science

every dialer company offers a feature or two others don't. the only one that I have seen that has pretty much everything for a great price is YTel.
