Anyone Has Good Scripts for the Appointment Setter for FE

Please help me. Obama never sent me that check he promised me and now I have to sell insurance to make a living. He is trying to take selling health insurance away from me and I need to sell some life insurance before the govt tries to take that over also. Look old lady, you know you already have one foot in the grave and if you love your family, you will go ahead and take care of this today. Now show your family that you love them and buy some insurance.

We've been asked to call the citizens of Wake County this week and inform everyone about possible soc.sec. death benefits and about the high cost of funerals. You may not realize it but when you pass away your family and children will be responsible for this $8000-$10,000 funeral bill.

We are helping people enroll in a final expense plan that will take that financial burden away from your children. We have a plan available for everyone (assuming you have a guaranteed issue plan available). We also have state licensed representatives in your area today and tomorrow.

If you would like to look at this plan we can have one of the reps visit with you for a few minutes. Is mornings, afternoons, or evenings best for you. Would you like info for anyone else in your family? Ok between 10am-11am tomorrow sounds fine. If an emergency comes up and you can not be there please call me back immediately at (your cell #).

We are MEETING WITH PEOPLE IN YOUR COUNTY THIS WEEK TO EXPLAIN HOW TO AVOID THESE PROBLEMS IMMEDIATELY.

Hey I never said ours was the best...your looks okay! put a lil in bold we would edit...BUT WHO CARES RIGHT!

* This is a bit shorter, to the point and opens the door to discuss the nightmare of probate, trusts and wills, FE, 401k's and IRA's, fixed annuities etc..

* We use the FE appointment as a fact finder for the larger dollar products that flow along naturally. When we deliver the policy we ask that the beneficiary be present so we may explain the plan....Thus a qualified referral.

Asked by whom? I hate this kind of scripting. It insinuates that you were asked by a government authority of some kind. It's the same thing as calling someone and saying "I got a postcard in the mail from you", when you didn't. Can't we be a little more creative without being misleading?
 
I know some agents that even take it a step further.. Hi Mrs. Jones this is John calling you back, you said you had a concern about the rising cost of funerals, bla bla bla bla....

I would never do this, and I consider it illegal even though it is not.. Some of these seniors get so many "mail cards" they forget what they responsed to and what they did not. These guys just buy a list and go at it.. I would never do this and certainly do not recommend it but some agents do..

(Hint) You might find these agents in the Meridian,Mississippi area..

My wife asked me to call these people so we can pay the bills.
 
I need to point out one thing regarding scripts that comes to mind everytime I read one- and, mind you, this is from a personal point of view, but I've talked to others who feel the same. And please don't get me wrong - I love love love reading other peoples scripts and have gotten many helpful insights/ideas from them.

When getting any sort of sales call, when they ask me "how are you doing today?" or "how are you?" it makes me crazy. I'm fully aware that it's a sales call and the other party really doesn't care how I'm doing. It simply comes off very insincere to me and I lose interest in what they're saying from that point on.

Other people, both customers and businesses, I've talked to about this when discussing sales calls say the same thing. Is this a regional thing (I'm in the Midwest) or are we all just crazy? (I know, it's probably the latter...)
