There are a lot of inactive agents and agents who don’t care about selling. I say they don’t care about selling because of the carriers they are still using. The amount of time they have been in business some ought to kick my rear end when we compete for the same business. Then, when I give a quote for standard carrier and they are using non standard I’m shocked. Why is this? Do Indy agents not seek appointments with standard carriers and settle for non standard?

There are successful agents in every state. There are telesales agents right now selling in the south with no issue.

I would stop listening to others, and go out and make it happen.

Nope.....better to hit up the regional or state church advisory advisory board in order to get permission to do presentations to the flocks. Be prepared to negotiate tho, even god likes money apparently.
