CICA - can you do a paper app or eapp with no recording? Client doesn't want to do tele or be recorded.

Yes. If face to face. The recording is only for phone sales.

You cannot do a phone sale without the recording.

They don't have a paper app. It's eApp only.

My understanding is OK to get the client on the recorded line, have them state their name, that they understand the plan and don't wish to be recorded. I've done this with several very busy doctor/clients. The requirement for a recorded call falls on the agent, not the beneficiary. This way you're covered if you get audited or the client later complains.

That is not how it works with CICA

If you do a phone sale you have record it all including the mandatory disclosures and agreements and you have to upload the recording at app submission.

The person cannot opt out of the recording.

And they do audit those recordings regularly.

I was looking for a cica beneficiary form the other day and i ran across the commission sheet . When did cica change to first 2 months lapse chargeback on as earned ? When they changed there advance chargeback to 3 months back in sept i think there was no chargeback on as earned .

That's news to me too. They said that didn't affect as earned.
