Massey is talking shit because he's pimping telemarketing.

As for the companies, they are a means to an end. They use me. I use them.

There's no company that makes my job easy. But some make it harder.

I try to use the ones that don't make it as hard.

I was trying to give PM a customer yesterday. I have the rate for $10K and $15K. The guy wanted $12K.

I called them to ask for a rate for $12K. They couldn't figure the rate without all his info.

I just said, "dude, *** you!""

I put the guy with Gerber.

You can't even give a POS company a customer.

It's just stunning to me how nearly every FE company has no fricking clue about so many things. It's like they go out of their way to be stupid. For example, GTL has no way for you to see your clients on their website. In 2025, how is that possible??

But long ago I've accepted that its not going to change. These companies just don't care and when they do, their bureaucracy makes it such that nothing actually happens.

FYI Physician's Mutual didn't give you a quote for 12K because they can't. They only offer 1K, 2K, 3K, 5K, 7K, 10K, 15K, 20K, 25K & 30K.

You can use our mobile app (there's no sign up or tracking) to see their prices and those of all DTC companies out there. If there is no quote (like in the case of PM), it will show you why.

In today's world how could company's writing fe like a gtl ,moo or a foresters not have ss billing ? You were 1 of the first to do organic marketing 6-8 yrs ago . Now telesales and social media ads have flooded the mkt to what seems like saturation . How's your ad flow changed the last few yrs? Have you had to adjust the way you get leads?

The guy called PM direct and gave them his info and they quoted him $12K.

We generated more leads last year than ever before :)

I was just quoting the coverage amounts they offer on their website. It seems that when you call, they have different amounts. Another example of stupidity by an insurance company.

One of the easiest eapps is Standard Life and Casualty. No phone calls and you simply type in the insured's mother's maiden name for the signature. No text, emails, etc. Client does have to be fairly healthy but they will accept insulin diabetics.
I just called Manhattan earlier today and was told by a woman that the UW will call applicants for a PHI after e-apps are submitted. I asked her if I could call UW with client at time of app and she said no, it has to "get to underwriting" first.

Do they ever do PHIs? Is the e-app instant decision now?

They won't do anything the way they say they will.
