Just when you thought things weren't going to get any worse, here is a little tidbit I thought I would pass along to brighten your day!
--from UHC:
The QA Team has been advised from the CMS regional office that they have representatives making outbound calls to agents regarding sales events. The calls are driven by events which we advertise or from the event listing sent monthly to CMS. (UHC OnDemand Reporting)
It is imperative that your agents know that they may receive a call from a CMS representative regarding one of their events. When an agent speaks to CMS, they may or may not identify themselves as CMS. However, the agents must answer each question truthfully and correctly.
Examples of questions you may anticipate are; 1) confirmation of the meeting location, 2) confirmation that the agent they are speaking to is the agent who is presenting, 3) whom should consumers ask for when they arrive at the meeting and last 4) was the agent aware of the new CMS Regulations that are related to marketing/sales events. These are examples of questions asked in recent calls, however CMS may ask more. Also, the event the CMS agent refers to during the call will most likely be an event that is secret shopped by CMS.

Gee, I'm just full of good news, aren't I? Have a nice day!
