Envision 2021

Looks like they will continue to pay commissions thankfully. I wrote over 600 of them and it would be a big hit if they didn't.

Dear Partners,

Effective October 1, 2020, Envision Insurance Company (EIC) is terminating its existing contracts with its network of Field Marketing Organizations, Brokers, Agents, Agencies (collectively "Brokers") with respect to marketing and selling EIC's PDP product. As such, please accept this communication as EIC's notice of termination of your agreement effective as of October 1, 2020.

Pursuant to the termination, there will be no recertification or onboarding for the AEP plan year. Commissions due will be paid in accordance with your agreement, including overrides.

We have valued our business partnership with you. Please click the link below to view a list FAQs to help answer your questions. You can still contact us at EnvisionAgentSupport@envisionrx.com if you have any additional questions.

I'd feel better if it said, "you will be paid in 2021 and future years as long as your existing members remain". Luckily I do comparisons every year. If there is another carrier who will save my clients money, I will be moving them.

Looks like a new application is needed for all Envision clients. The plan is changing to Elixir RxPlus and existing members cannot be mapped to the new plan. Supposedly we can still be paid if they enroll in the Elixir plan, but new applications are going to be required. Looks like extra work this AEP.

So, if we were told before that we couldn't write new business apps with Envision, then how would we be paid if they get rewritten?
Going to need some clarity on that one.
Fortunately I had just started writing business with them, if client's pharmacy was in their network and not one of the other low cost plans, so not many to rewrite.

Are you saying existing EnvisionRxPlus people are being "non renewed"? In other words, they are not being "mapped" to the new plan, or, any other plan?

That's correct. They will not be mapped.

What a disaster.

IF you still get commission for the envision renewals for 2021 plan year AND IF it still projects as a low cost plan for 2021 in October, why is it a disaster?

Because that's about 300 extra enrollments. 300 extra phone calls. 300 extra conversations.

Thanks for the response.

Sorry about the earlier question. I went back and reread one of the earlier posts several times and see what I missed.
