Envision 2021

Regardless if its a dif plan with dif name and they are requiring new enrollments

They just said, they are not contracting and paying commission on new enrollments

its an agent dump

Here's what the email says:

Dear Partners,

As you are aware, effective October 1, 2020, Envision Insurance Company (EIC) is terminating its existing contracts with its network of Brokers, Agents, and Agencies.

In order to receive renewal commissions, normally paid out in full in January each year, Brokers/Agents have to remain compliant as per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In order to remain compliant, you will need to complete a certification process to upload your 2021 AHIP.

Soon, you will receive an email from EnvisionAgentSupport that contains a link for you to certify with us as well as a Service Only Agreement indicating your agreement to continue servicing members you enrolled and who remain in our plan. Below is a link to a PowerPoint with step by step instructions for certifying. Certification must be completed by December 1, 2020.

Envision Insurance Company is rebranding to Elixir Insurance Company and the plan, EnvisionRxPlus, is being rebranded to Elixir RxPlus. Per CMS guidelines, clients cannot be mapped into the new plan, therefore, this year all members have to re-enroll from their current EnvisionRxPlus plan into the Elixir RxPlus plan in order to stay in the comparable low premium plan they currently have. All members have to re-enroll into the Elixir RxPlus plan EXCEPT members from the following states: NY, DC, MD, SC, and DE.

Note that you will remain Broker of Record and receive your renewal commission if the member re-enrolls. Agents can assist their members with their re-enrollment online. All members will receive mailed communication and a phone call requesting that they take action and re-enroll by phone, online through our website or return the abbreviated enrollment form they will receive in the mail along with a self-addressed envelope. If members don't take action to re-enroll, they will renew in a plan with higher premiums, copays and deductibles.

A client just called, they received a letter from Envision/Elixir stating their monthly premium is increasing to $34 per month.

My yearly review letter is going out on Monday, to hit around 10/1 when I can discuss this riff-raff.

It is legit to contact clients prior to 10/1 by phone to set appointments that are to occur no earlier than 10/1 to discuss their renewal options, without mentioning details of the solution, which may not be to enroll them in Elixir. You are their agent. We are not to present plans or details prior to 10/1. I notified clients by mail last year that changes were coming to their Humana WalMart Rx plan and we needed to talk, but now that I am thinking about it, I timed them to arrive no earlier than 10/1. In your case we know what needs to be discussed, at least about price. Glad you posted this, I don't have many clients with Envision, but here we go. Their network and pricing was attractive.
Does anyone know if they are owned or co owned in relation to Walgreens/RiteAid?
I seem to recall it was one of the pharmacies in their preferred network. Now Anthem, if I recall correctly has not included Walgreens in network for 2021.

Changing from $14 to $26 in GA but a new $14 plan available here in 2021.

I have promised my clients a news letter but won't go out until AFTER 10/1 so I can put SOME useful information in it.

I prefer to be a few days late and have something worthwhile in the letter vs the first one out of the box and have it all speculation.

But that is just me . . .

It's a lot of work to flip a few hundred PDP's when time is already short during AEP

I send a letter that hits around Oct 1st every year, advising them if they want to make a change to please let me know. I include a SOA and drug questionnaire to fill out.

Most stay put. If I have to this year I'll follow up with a call and spend Sundays running drug plans.

Elixir is sending out enrollment applications to current members. Got an email from a client who is enrolled in Envision. She asked if I sent the applications or had them sent and wanted to know if they should go ahead and complete them and send them in. Guess plans have different rules than us lowly agents.
