Envision Insurance Company is rebranding to Elixir Insurance Company and the plan, EnvisionRxPlus, is being rebranded to Elixir RxPlus.

What this means for you:
  • Per CMS Guidelines, your clients will NOT be automatically mapped into the new Elixir RxPlus Plan*.
  • Members will have to proactively re-enroll in the Elixir RxPlus plan if they want to keep the comparable low premium.
  • If no action is taken by December 7, the member will automatically renew in the Elixir RxSecure plan which has a higher premium and deductible than what they currently have with EnvisionRxPlus.
    • Members recently received their Annual Notice of Chance (ANOC) which showed the Elixir RxSecure higher priced premium and not the Elixir RxPlus plan premium.
  • Brokers who certified** with Envision Insurance (soon to be Elixir Insurance) for renewals and signed the Service Only agreement, will be commissioned on all members who are still an Elixir RxPlus member after Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). It does not matter if the member re-enrolled themselves or if the Broker helped them, they will maintain Broker of Record and get their renewal commissions.
What happens next:
  • We are using various methods to communicate with impacted members to ensure awareness of this change and that action is taken.
  • Soon members will receive a packet with an abbreviated re-enrollment form to sign and mail back in the self-addressed stamped envelope. Members may also re-enroll by:
    • Calling the phone number that is in the packet letter: 877-583-2617 (TTY 711), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    • Visiting our website elixirinsurance.com or through their member portal (top right of web page).
  • Starting 10/15/2020, brokers can assist their clients with re-enrolling in the Elixir RxPlus plan by using the abbreviated re-enrollment PDF form located at elixirinsurance.com. Click on the Broker Tab and scroll down to the center section to view, download and print. The form can be faxed to: 844-645-0583
If you have any additional questions, please email: EnvisionAgentSupport@EnvisionRx.com

Sincerely,

Elixir Insurance

* This applies to members in all states EXCEPT: NY, DC, MD, SC, and DE. Members in these states will automatically roll over into the Elixir RxPlus plan and do not need to re-enroll.

**A certification link was sent 8/20/2020 with your password and user name. Look for an email from Broker Support, if you have not completed it yet.

Received today via email addressed to my wife who has the current $14 plan. Arrived complete with link to enroll DIRECT

. . . . . . . .

It's almost time to re-enroll for your 2021 prescription benefits! This year comes with a new name for your Part D plan. EnvisionInsurance is changing to Elixir Insurance. To ensure you continue to receive the same prescription drug coverage, you must take action by December 7 to re-enroll in Elixir RxPlus as your Part D plan for 2021.

New name, new plan, same great company and service!

If Elixir Insurance is right for you, and you want to keep a plan with a low premium and deductible, then you must take action by changing to Elixir RxPlus. If you do not take action by the deadline, you will be automatically enrolled in our plan with a higher premium. Taking no action will result in an automatic enrollment with a higher premium plan.

Mark your calendar for October 15 to take action and re-enroll! For the fastest service, visit elixirinsurance.com/enroll or call 877-583-2624 (TTY 711), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thank you for being an Elixir Insurance member.

Sincerely,

Elixir Insurance Customer Care

I presume you are referring to consumers, not agents. (Most) agents aren't that uninformed.

So agents don't bother doing lookups today or tomorrow?

In that case I'm glad I did it myself and got a head start. No problem with my lookup.

(And I don't have to re-write my clients since I didn't use Elixir last year.)

Here's a crazy thought, not everyone takes the same medications as you, nor do they use your same pharmacy. And nowhere did I say it was a good option. As a matter of fact, here was my exact quote on 09/30/2020 - prior to plans being released for review):

"Don't yet know how competitive they will be"

But go on acting like you have a clue as to how life is as an agent. Not really sure why you even come to this forum. Many times you jump into threads that are very specific to things an agent experiences and somehow feel you can speak on the subject matter.

Oh we look them up and hope and pray that after a week when Medicare gets updates from carriers there aren't different numbers. On several occasions I've run comparisons early in October only to find out that the system was calculating something incorrectly and it turned out a different plan would have been the lowest cost option. Again, us agents hope and pray every year that doesn't happen since we may spend 60-80 hours in the first week of October running comparisons. But again, tell us how to do a job you've never done.
